Thank You Pintrest... Homemade Calzone!

So, I got this idea from Pintrest.  All you need is pizza dough, pizza sauce, shredded cheese, and whatever toppings you'd like.  First, you roll out the pizza dough into a big rectangle.  Next, you put the pizza sauce and the toppings, along with the cheese, in the middle of the dough.  You have to leave room on the sides to make cuts so that you can wrap the pieces over the top...

After you wrap the cut pieces (starting from one side and working your way to the other), then cook the calzone for the recommended time on the pizza dough package.  If you'd like, melt butter, brush the butter over the top, and sprinkle some garlic salt over it.  That's what we did, and we thought it was good!  This is what ours looked like after it came out of the oven.

This was the first time we made it, but we will definitely make it again.  Also, we prepared the calzone on tin foil sprayed with non-stick spray, and then we just lifted the tin foil and put it on a baking sheet to cook.  If you try to make the calzone and then pick it up to put it on tin foil or the baking sheet, it will rip because it is so large and can be heavy.  To take it off of the baking sheet after it cooked, we just picked it up with a couple of spatulas and put it on the cutting board.  Thanks Pintrest! :)

It's a.....

GIRL
So, we found out December 21st that we are having a girl!  That makes me a little nervous lol but excited!  We have already gotten a ton of clothes for her.  We borrowed some from Chad and Abby and mine and Craig's parents have also gotten her some clothes.  Craig and I went on a shopping spree in Babies R Us (because they were having a really good sale on clothes) and bought some UnderArmour skirts, winter skirts, and other outfits.  We also had a gender reveal party where we announced what we are having by getting everyone to open brown paper bags at the same time (there were pink pieces of candy inside).  I thought it was pretty fun and a good way to tell everyone instead of just saying "Hey, we are having a girl."  Which is what Craig probably would have rather done haha!  Here are some of the things we have gotten from friends and family (and ourselves) for LBT:

The Carolina outfit in the top right is what she will be wearing home from the hospital if she fits into it..Craig did the pink painting at Wine and Canvas in Indianapolis for the nursery.

Being Crafty

So like everyone else, last year I got hooked on Pintrest.  I actually made a lot of Christmas presents and Christmas decorations from ideas I got from there.  I made picture canvases, coasters, a flower pot, a door wreath, a Christmas card holder, wine glasses with chalkboard paint on the bottom, etc.  I have also started crocheting hats with a loom (because it is a lot easier than crocheting without a loom).  I have never been very crafty or been very good at crafts, but it is very fun and hopefully I can stay this crafty! LOL!  Here are some of the presents, decorations, and even food that I made over Christmas:
The pretzels are Santa hat pretzels, and the "T" is a door wreath.  I need to make a garnet and black "T" to stay on the door all year! :)  I don't have a picture of the coasters or wine glasses, but I think they turned out pretty good.
