Of course, even when you eat healthy, you need something sweet also! So, I found a recipe for some turtles, but again, I made them a little differently.
~Sugar Free Caramel
~Sugar Free Chocolate Chips
1.) Put almonds in groups of 5 or 6 on a wax paper lined cookie sheet.
2.) Melt the chocolate on the stove top on the low setting stirring constantly. You can melt half the bag or the whole bag depending on how many turtles you want to make. I melted about half a bag, and it made between 15-20 turtles.
3.) Put in about a teaspoon to a tablespoon of honey into the chocolate (again, it depends on how much you are making..I just eyeballed this part).
4.) Put about a teaspoon of sugar free caramel on each group of almonds.
5.) Once the chocolate is finished, put a spoonful (or as much or as little as you want) on the top of the almonds/caramel.
6.) Place in the refrigerator for at least an hour so the chocolate can harden.
And they are great!
